Cayucos Christmas Tree Lighting
There’s nothing like being with friends, old and new, to celebrate a community Christmas Tree Lighting. A warm welcome, carolers, and refreshments make this an evening to savor as the annual tree comes to life. And guess who’s coming to town? Santa and Mrs. Claus will be arriving by fire engine! Children can look forward to visiting Santa in his quaint Victorian home.

Cayucos Christmas Open House
Come ring in the holidays with family and friends at the 9th Annual Cayucos Christmas Open House. Businesses will be open from 5 – 8 PM for shoppers to see what they have to offer and to find just-the-right gifts. You can look forward to raffles, discounted prices, entertainment and refreshments. The Cayucos Chamber is proud to host trolley and horse-carriage rides at no charge. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting with children in their quaint Victorian home next to the community Christmas tree (corner of D Street and Ocean Avenue).

Cambria Christmas Market
Cambria hosts a fabulous traditional European-style Christmas Market during the Christmas season. Since medieval times, especially in Germany and Austria, town squares feature open-air stalls where vendors sell food, drink, crafts, and seasonal items. Visitors can enjoy delectable bratwurst (sausages), Glühwein (hot-spiced wine), and tasty treats. You won’t want to miss the entertainment, music, and dancing either! The most amazing sight your eyes will feast on is the beautiful array of light displays. Come walk through a Winter Wonderland, rain or shine!

Morro Bay Lighted Boat Parade
The Lighted Boat Parade is a festive holiday event in Morro Bay! Local boats of all sizes are decorated with lights for the holiday season and cruise the harbor.

Bruce Munro: Light at Sensorio in Paso Robles
This exhibit, now a permanent fixture, offers a captivating outdoor journey through thousands of lights in Paso Robles, California, just a short drive from Caycuos. It has recently been enhanced with two new installations by the world-renowned artist Bruce Munro. The first, "Fireflies," is a charming display featuring nearly 10,000 shimmering lights, while the second, "Gone Fishing," creatively depicts the tranquil experience of fishing by a stream. These new additions join Munro's existing installations, "Field of Light" and "Light Towers," creating a harmonious blend of art and light. Visitors can also enjoy live music and a selection of food, beverages, local wines, beers, and spirits during the event. The opening hours are scheduled around the sunset times each month, adding to the unique ambiance of the experience.
